        Hemorrhoids, Heartburn, Skin Rashes


         And A Whole Host Of Other Nasty Things That Can ALL Go Away



        If you are overweight/obese YOU HAVE THESE PAINS ALL DAY (AND NIGHT) EVERY DAY that can all go away.
        (1) Hemorrhoids: Obesity Action Coalition says:  Hemorrhoids are more common in the overweight population
        for several reasons including inadequate fiber intake and decreased level of physical activity.

        (2) Heartburn / Indigestion (GERD): Obesity Action Coalition says:   People who are overweight are 50% more
        likely to have heartburn than healthy weight.  Those who are obese are 600% more likely to have heartburn.
        (3) Skin Rashes:  NEWS MEDICAL Life Sciences & Medicine says:  Obesity affects these:  (1) the skin barrier
        function, (2) workings of the sebaceous glands and sebum production that keeps skin moisturized and supple,
        (3) sweat glands, (4) small lymph channels under the skin, (5) collagen structure and function, (6) wound
        healing, (7) small blood vessels under the skin, and (8) subcutaneous fat – see next page.
        (4) Arthritis: WebMD says: " If you are at all overweight, one of the best ways to reduce osteoarthritis pain is
        by taking off excess pounds. Being overweight increases the load that you put on your joints.

        (5) Depression: WebMD says: Increased appetite and decreased physical activity are common symptoms of
        depression that lead to weight gain, while the stigma associated with obesity may lead to depression.  The
        obesity rate among the U.S. population is 36%.  The rate of obesity with significant depression is twice that.

        (6) Muscle Pain (fibromyalgia): WebMD says: Overweight and obese, especially those who do not exercise at
        all or exercise for less than an hour a week -- are at higher risk for developing fibromyalgia (Muscle Pains).
        (7) Sore Legs, Feet & Back Pain: Obesity Action Coalition says: Too much weight can also have a serious impact
        on your bones, joints and muscles. Joints — knees, hips, ankles, shoulders and elbows.  Every pound of weight
        gained puts an extra four pounds of pressure on each of your knee joints.

        (8) Migraines: WebMD says:  Overweight and obese were 81 percent more likely to have episodic migraines
        than those with a lower BMI. This was particularly true among women, whites and those under the age of 50.
        (9) Gout:   National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases says:  Gout is a painful
        condition. Being overweight increases the risk of developing gout.  Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy
        body weight. Lose weight, avoid low-carbohydrate diets that are designed for quick weight loss.
