Fleet
Since our acquisition of WesTower, MNS has conducted an aggressive fleet rationalization program
designed to ensure that our fleet utilization is optimized to provide efficient service delivery for
our customers.
In addition to decreased fleet size and higher utilization rates, we’ve optimized our fleet to ensure
that our crews always have the right vehicle for the right job. Our fleet ranges from EVs, hybrids
and all the way up to DOT certified F350s.
MNS has made substantial investments in GPS tracking for our fleet vehicles. Through these
systems MNS is able to assess individual driving behavior including speed, acceleration, turning
and braking forces. The company continues to use this data to help ensure our drivers are not
only more efficient but have safer driving habits in their use of MNS fleet vehicles.
The company is currently developing dashboards for driver performance and building programs to
further optimize fleet behavior and overall GHG emissions reduction. As part of our GHG
emissions reduction plan, employees are encouraged to use ethanol (E85) and biodiesel (B20)
blends when those fuels are available.
As a field services deployment company, we expect as much as 90% of our remaining GHG
reductions to be a result of our focus on fleet optimization and behavioral modification.
