higher levels of samadhi (superconsciousness) that lead you to God-realization or the Kingdom of Heaven. This Truth is made evident in the life of Sri Ramakrishna, when he became overly attached to the form of Goddess Kali. To facilitate Ramakrishna’s attainment of Self-realization, his Guru encouraged him to immediately relinquish the form of Kali with the sword of discrimination each time she appeared before him in his meditation.
The conceptual God, who has inspired you throughout your spiritual journey, must eventually be left behind and transcended by your increasing discrimination. Although your mental concept of God has helped you up to that point, you must reach a stage in which you graduate beyond that concept and merge with God Who is beyond all mental forms. You cannot be con ned to a mental fabrication of duality when entering into the in nite world of the Divine.
A mind that cannot expand to unify with God soon becomes a habitation for ignorance and darkness. On the other hand, if the chitta (mind) has an accurate understanding of Divine worship, then goodness and light will manifest within every aspect of your personality. Your intellect will be puri ed; your senses and mind will be healthy. Even your physical body will vibrate with higher forces of prana (vital energy). Therefore, abundance will
