The show continued with Barry Pendrak performing
aerobatic maneuvers in his custom built Super Skybolt. Jacquie Warda flew
an awe-inspiring
aerobatic display in
her red Extra 300.
Then it was Gary Rower’s turn to perform thrilling
hammerhead turns, rolls, loops and Cuban eights in his
vintage, red and white Stearman biplane.
The thundering sound of the Pratt & Whitney Wasp radial
engine combined with white smoke added to the
excitement.
Later in the show, Gary and Buck teamed together to
perform formation aerobatics.
Geoff Latter in his “Nancy” and Drew Watson with his
yellow Harvard Mk IIb flew a performance of graceful
formation aerobatics together.
Later, Drew broke formation and performed solo
aerobatics. It’s always a thrill to see and hear the Harvard
thunder through the sky.
