JACK AND JILL DALLAS TODAY
Currently, the Chapter includes a membership of 86 moms and approximately 178 children
participating in six age groups with Tammi Abney leading the organization. At the 2016
National Convention held in Palm Springs, CA, the Dallas Chapter earned recognition for many
accomplishments including the Foundation Visionary Award. Elle Chavis and Jirden Ware were
awarded the Young Writer’s Creativity Award for their written/illustrated creative piece that was
selected for publication in the 2016 Jack and Jill of America’s Anthology. The chapter also
received the Best of the Best for Programming and received the Teen Leadership Summit
Award.
At the 2017 Mother’s Conference, the Dallas Chapter was recognized for excellent
programming. The programming award honored the Chapter wide Fitness Day event which
includes participation from Jack and Jill mothers, fathers and children.
The Dallas Chapter is grateful to be celebrating 65 sensational years with Jack and Jill of
America, Incorporated.

The Dallas Chapter also received 3 place for Foundation donations at the 2019 South Central
Regional Conference.
