Thai Hotels Association was founded in 1963 as hotel executives and hotel

entrepreneurs had granted the permission to establish an association,
previously called “Thai Hotels Association for Tourists” with the objectives

1. To promote unity and support one to another relating to hotel

industry and member issues.
2. To support Thailand’s tourism by asking cooperation from
government’s tourism authority institute and foreign tourism organizations.
3. To provide knowledge and cooperation among its members with
no political interference The office was located at Oriental Hotel Bangkok.
Later in 1968, the name was changed to “Thai Hotels Association (THA)”
up until now.
At Present, Thai Hotels Association is located at 203-209/3
Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue, Bowonniwet, Phranakorn, Bangkok 10200

The Association’s Objectives
The objectives of the Association shall be as follows

1. To promote private enterprise relating to the hotel business and
tourism industry.
