Care of Flexible Endoscopes

After the channels are brushed and while the endoscope is submerged in the enzymatic
detergent solution, flush the channels with a pressure device (syringe or pistol) that will
push the enzymatic solution through the channels (see Figure 6). Wash the outside of
the endoscope with a soft cloth and brush the levers and stopcocks with a soft nylon
brush.
