EDITORIAL

Dear readers,

It is an immense pleasure and a moment of satisfaction to bring you the first issue of
ProCanvass, the foremost e-magazine published by VJTI M. Tech. Project Management.
ProCanvass came into existence to inform, engage, inspire and entertain a diverse leadership,
which includes students, faculty, staff, VJTI alumni and assorted industries. ProCanvass is
focused on projecting an intimate and honest portrayal of Project Management department,
endeavors to reflect the values and quality of institution and its people, its resources, mission,
challenges and achievements.

Being a part of Project Management family is a great experience, which has refined our
personalities. The journey from the concept of this issue of ProCanvass was very stimulating,
encouraging and filled with numerous practical, concrete project management lessons.

We express our sincerest thanks to fellow students, faculty and staff members who showed
their continuous support for ProCanvass right from the beginning. Our special thanks go to
Dr. O. G. Kakade, Director VJTI, Dr. D. K. Shinde, Production Department Head and Dr. B. E.
Narkhede, Program Coordinator Project Management. We thank and appreciate industrial
experts who gave us time from their busy schedule and shared their opinions in interviews.
