MESSAGE FROM PROGRAM COORDINATOR

VJTI started distinctive M. Tech. Project Management program from 2013-14. This techno-commercial
course aims at developing the engineering graduates to be the future project managers. We are fortunate
to have talented, committed and highly experienced Project Managers from the industry to teach this
program. VJTI Project Management is also well connected with NITIE, IIIE, PMI and other external
bodies. Overall it creates an environment where students are stretched and challenged and have their
expectations raised to achieve demanding targets.

VJTI Project Management is a vibrant learning community that encourages a three-way partnership
between students, college and the industry. The strength of this partnership is reflected in the success of
our students. VJTI Project Management students are exceeding expectations as Project Managers in
many organizations including L&T, Infosys, Shrijee Group and Kalpataru Group.

ProCanvass is first of it’s own kind e-magazine which is set to showcase VJTI Project Management
activities and standpoints. I feel this e-magazine is certainly a value addition to the department. I wish
grand success to the ProCanvass and the team working hard behind it.
