Hello, Internal Revenue Service. What can I do for you?
Offi cer: Hello, Internal Revenue Service. What can I do for you?
Caller: This is Bernadine Ashley speaking. I was just wondering if you could help me out with my
Income Tax Return Sheet. How can I avail it, Ma’am?
Offi cer: Oh I see. Ok, may I have your Tax Identifi cation Number, please?
Caller: It’s 305-987566630.
Offi cer: Are you sure you’re paying your taxes on time?
Caller: Of course, Madam. You could even check it out with my employer.
Offi cer: Yes, I see that your record is fi ne. You would just have to get a letter from your employer
stating your request for a copy of your tax payments here. Then, your company will be the one
to send it to us, and we are going to send it to them in 2 days time. Would that be fi ne with
you?
Caller: Of course, Ma’am. No problem at all. I’ll just do what you have told me.
Offi cer: Ok then, we’ll just wait for your request. Thank you for calling Internal Revenue Service
and have a pleasant day!
Caller: Thanks a lot Ma’am. Bye.
1. Have you tried calling the Internal Revenue Service?
Sample answer:
Yes, whenever I update my tax contributions. I believe that as a citizen and working personnel,
I am obliged to pay and update our contributions for the benefit of everybody.
2. Was there an instance that you called the Internal Revenue Service for con-
firmation?
Sample answer:
Yes, it was when I requested for my Internal Tax Revenue contribution sheet that I need
for my application of loan and credit card.
3. Do you actually think that there is a need to follow up on calls for our contri-
butions as an employee?
Sample answer:
Yes, because there are instances where the employers only deduct our tax contribution from
our salary, but they don’t remit them to the Internal Revenue Service.
