Caller: Yes, thank you, this is He-Ji-hoon speaking. I’m just wondering if I can change my card.
Offi cer: Has it already expired?
Caller: No Ma’am, but the picture in my ARC is a different person. I just found out after going
home, just now.
Offi cer: If that’s the case you can go back here anytime and show us the card. Can you bring
along with you another set of 2 1x1 picture, 2 valid identifi cation cards, and your passport?
Caller: Ok, no problem, Ma’am. Can I go back there tomorrow morning?
Offi cer: That’s fi ne with us. Just bring what I’ve told you.
Caller: Alright, Ma’am. Thanks a lot. Bye.

Yes, I have tried working in Malaysia when I was 21 years old. It was also the first time that I got
an Alien Registration Certificate from there; I’ve worked as an Engineer in a TFT-LCD Company
for almost 6 years.
2. Is it hard to keep an Alien Registration Certificate?
Sample answer:
Yes, my friends and I working there have an ARC and I remember that we should always keep
it with us for our own security as well as the country’s security. It’s just like having an Identifica-
tion Card like us Nationals here in our own country.
3. Does having an Alien Registration Certificate make you more special than
any body else?
