PHASE 2 – PRE - HANDOVER

 Critical phase in any project for all parties

 Proper planning for the move – in and induction of end users

 Senior users training and induction by the main contractor as per commissioning

requirements

 Proper training for the non – technical end users

 Pre – handover triggers the assembly of guidelines for the building final handover

 Pre – handover phase prompt building management with issues they need to

plan for to get the building up and running efficiently during and after the move

 A simple non – technical end user guide should be assembled, over and above

compulsory technical guidance, using the pre handover pictures of building

controls with a few simple guidelines to explain key control and energy saving

features to the end users
