DRAWINGS

• Architectural and “as fitted” drawings demonstrate how the final construction was

executed and should identify the final conditions.

• As facility operator its important to have all updated drawings because it helps in

knowledge transfer of all aspects related to the development, to ensure smooth

transition during handover from developer to operator.

• Drawings provide critical information such as location and sizes of all components,

concealed elements, pipe and duct routing, terminal unit locations and control

system sensor locations among many others.

• Therefore, they can ensure that future repairs / upgrades / design changes /

renovation projects are more efficient and are completed on time as they allow for

confident planning and execution of expansion, additions and modifications of

facilities.

Implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) System of works and

functional implementation.
