SECTION 2 - BUSINESS OPERATIONS

                "In 1961 my wife and I started our business after I got out of the US Navy.  We started with a
                boat repair shop and one employee.  Now we have several profit centers and have expanded the
                marina 8 or 9 times since 1961.  We currently have 10 full time employees and during the
                summer season our total employees goes up to 30-35." Jerry Rockvam


                Describe your staff and their responsibilities?

                Full Time
                Jerry - President/CEO - Daily Operations... everything
                Joyce - Owner, Accounting Supervisor
                Barry - Lead Technician.  He's the "guy" that other
                tech's go to for answers for their questions.  His trouble
                shooting skills are exceptional.
                Zac -  Service Technicians, forklift operators, and
                logistic technicians.
                Nick -  Service Technicians, forklift operators, and
                logistic technicians.
                Harley - (34 years) Forklift Operator for the In/Out
                Service & lead trainer for our new forklift operators.
                Roxanne - General manager, marketing/sales, and PT
                crew coordinator for hiring/training.
                Zack - Forklift operator, yard coordinator
                Luke - Office Coordinator and Accounting, Boat Club Coordinator
                Lexie - Ship's Store Coordinator, ordering/receiving, Special Events

                Part-Time
                Boat Runners - drive boats at marina to/from gas dock/launching ramp -  for In/Out, boat club,
                rentals.
                Boat Cleaners - Daily cleaners for pontoon boats, fishing boats and boat club
                Boat Hosts - Check out / Check in pontoon rentals - inventory control and contracts
                Boat Concierge - Membership services for boat club
                Gas Dock Attendants - pump gas and head, accounting, catch/tie up
                Ship's Store Attendants - contracts for boat club, information coordination, phones, sales





                How do you manage your business and monitor performance throughout the year?
                The only way to know where your success is or where your problems lie is to be aware.  You
                must monitor your financials and review against preceding years.  You must be available to talk
                with customers, both new and old.

                Jerry is here all the time. Some owners/managers may not like this management style, but this is
