There are two distinct eras of Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc.
1961 - 1998 - Physical Expansion
1999 - 2017 - Economic Expansion

Interesting point to note: during the early days of the marina, the property to the west of the
boat yard was available for sale. It was during the mid-1960's but it was too much of a financial
stretch to purchase at the time. The water front land was purchased by Advance Machine
Corporation. Therefore, when the 5 individual properties became available for purchase during
the early 1980's it was an awful time financially, interest rates at 22%, but they had to be
purchased..

Projects and equipment were either financed via traditional financing with a bank, or planned
for and paid for in cash.
