extend the life of the battery and for intelligent monitoring to prevent overcharge of the
battery comprises a solar panel charger (2) inherent to both flight data units.
24. The wireless dual flight data video recorder apparatus with satellite network
connectivity and method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1,
wherein said means for recording video and audio from the on board camera system
within the cockpit and passenger cabin of the aircraft comprises a cockpit network video
recorder(1) which attaches both recorders to the cockpit network video recorder system.
25. The wireless dual flight data video recorder apparatus with satellite network
connectivity and method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1,
wherein said means for recording video and audio from the on board camera system
within the cockpit and passenger cabin of the aircraft comprises a cockpit network video
recorder (2).
26. The wireless dual flight data video recorder apparatus with satellite network
connectivity and method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1,
wherein said means for a global communications network between the apparatus,
satellite communications network and the remote data center is by using standard
internet protocol (tcp/ip) to link the data in the FDR network comprises a direct satellite
connection or a satellite internet connection.
