2. The wireless dual flight data recorder apparatus with satellite network connectivity and
method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1, wherein said means for
recording flight data includes cockpit voice recording and automatically ejects from the aircraft
comprising a cockpit voice recorder (8), flotation system (10), intelligent solar panel (11) ,
emergency locator transmitter (12), cockpit network video recorder (14) deployable/ejectable
flight data recorder.
3. The wireless dual flight data recorder apparatus with satellite network connectivity and
method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1, wherein said means for
causing the flight data recorder to automatically deploy or eject from the aircraft in the event
of a crash comprises one or more ejection sensors.
4. The wireless dual flight data recorder apparatus with satellite network connectivity and
method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1, wherein said means for
recording communications and controls within the cockpit of the aircraft comprises a cockpit
voice recorder is redundantly backed up to a remote location.
5. The wireless dual flight data recorder apparatus with satellite network connectivity and
method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1, wherein said means for
flotation and enabling the flight data recorder to float on water in the event of a crash in water
comprising any viable constructed flotation materials.
6. The wireless dual flight data recorder apparatus with satellite network connectivity and
method for streaming remote backup in accordance with claim 1, wherein said means for
providing satellite communications connectivity between the quick access recorder and a
wireless data link to the remote data center comprises a wireless satellite network interface
and integrated antenna for connecting to the remote satellite network.
