means for providing solar power to the battery of the apparatus extending the life

of the batteries, preventing overcharge of the battery, connected to said means for

recording flight data including cockpit and passenger areas, and for ejecting from the

aircraft in the event of a crash;

means for recording IP based video and audio from the on board camera

system within the cockpit and passenger cabin of the aircraft, wirelessly connected to

said means for recording internet protocol communications and controls within the

cockpit of the aircraft, wirelessly connected to any logical port between the video

camera system, quick access recorder and apparatus, providing a remote direct link to

the data and aircraft controls with full IP surveillance to both the cockpit and

passenger areas of the aircraft;

means for recording video and audio from the on board camera system within the

cockpit and passenger cabin of the aircraft, rigidly connected to said means for

recording communications and controls within the cockpit of the aircraft;

means for establishing a global communications network between the

apparatus, a satellite communications network, remote data centers using standard

direct satellite connections or internet protocol (tcp/ip), real time transport, forming an

interstellar wireless network linking the apparatus, to a global footprint and

alternatively providing high speed wireless connections between the quick access

recorder, any suitable data acquisition unit, and a wireless data link to the remote data

centers for immediate information storage and retrieval;
