Items Left at Camp:
We need your help on this one. We will always attempt to locate and return items left at camp if you call and let us
know. But, sometimes campers are not very careful about getting all their belongings together when they pack to go
home. Some tips to reduce the chance of leaving things:
►Labeling everything will help, and if you wind up with an item belonging to someone else it stands a better chance
of getting returned.
►Adults, please encourage your camper to keep their area neat during camp. Practice at home. Our counselors do
the same reminding. This will reduce the chances of belongings straying.
►Put a copy of your “Packing List” in your trunk to be used to repack for your trip back home.
►Check lost and found before you check out at the office.
►We will ask you to pay for postage to return items.
►Try not to over pack – the more there is… the more there is to misplace.

Note: You must contact us by September 1 about any items lost. Items left after that date will be donated or
relegated to our drama department.
Weather at GREENWOOD
TRAILS
GREENWOOD TRAILS is in New England, in
the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, at
1100 - 1400 feet, so the weather can vary
from 45°F (15°C) to 98°F (40°C)! The saying
is, “If you don’t like the weather in New
England, wait a minute, it will change.”
Nights can be very cool even when the days
are hot. It has been known to rain for days
and for no rain to fall for days. Plan to dress
in layers. We have planned and trained to
adjust programs for extreme heat or rain
