        Bedding at Camp
We suggest campers bring sheets and blankets because they
are more comfortable for sleeping in our New England
weather. Some campers bring a favorite comforter or their
special pillow and case. Bedding can be rented from the camp
for those of you who prefer to travel lighter. A sleeping

bag is a great extra blanket and will be needed for
       tenting nights out!

       What do you sleep on?
Our beds have springs or platforms and camp-style
mattresses, which are best used with a 30" x 75" fitted cot
sheet or a flat sheet on the bottom and a twin flat on the top.
Special camp sheets that fit these mattresses are available
from Bunkline, our online store, and at linen shops. Our
mattresses are 4” thick. For added comfort, a mattress pad or
egg-crate pad creates another layer between the camper and
our hypo-allergenic mattresses. A folded blanket works too.

       Renting Bedding
If the camper would like to rent sheets, pillow, case, blankets, towel and washcloth there is an additional cost of
$25/session. Reserve the bedding on your Additional Options Form at myGWT.

                                            Laundry at Camp
A laundry service is provided for all campers! Campers will have
their laundry done once a session. If campers are staying longer
than one session, they will have their laundry done once a week
until the last week of their stay. It is sent to a local laundry and is
returned the next day. Campers may send out their DRY, dirty
clothes in their laundry bags each week.

This is why everything they bring should have been pre-washed, so
the colors are set, and to stay away from specialty fabrics that will
be damaged by high-heat dryers. If they have wet items, like towels
and bathing suits, they can hang them on the lines outside their
cabins and put them in the laundry bag after they are dry. Even
Camp T-shirt damp items get musty quickly in a laundry bag.
You will be given your camp T-shirt
at camp so we can all be in our This is another skill that can be practiced at home, before camp. All
Greenwood Trails shirts for picture laundry bags must be green, so as not to confuse laundry with other
       day!! camps at the Laundromat!
If there is an emergency need for clean clothes or bedding we have
                                            washers & dryers at camp.
