LESS information is BEST information. It is important to dispute as much personal
information as possible. Often creditors don’t have your social security number, all they
may have is your name and address. Creditors often link your name with your address and
report to the bureaus without ever having your social security number. Removing as much
personal information as possible makes the job of the creditor and bureau much more
difficult. Removing any prior address, variations of names, phone numbers, jobs, spouses,
any relatives provide a cleaner report as a result bureaus and creditors then find it
challenging to validate the debt.
