                 omen with no filter –
                 women leaders who celebrate
          Wothers and themselves.
This year’s theme could not be more
          apt.
           Around the world, people have
          become increasingly frustrated with
leadership across all spheres of society –
and the same is true here at home.
We are faced daily with a barrage of
negativity, not only in the news but on
          social networks.
Here, people are trying to make
sense of the world in whichever way
they can. We get glimpses every now
and then of how fragmented society is
across many fault lines, which is
          expected as our democracy matures.
          However, through leadership, hope
          springs eternal.
           Through the Businesswomen’s
          Association, women leaders continue to
          demonstrate the progress and integrity
          of leadership in South Africa.
In these difficult times, the leadership
South Africa needs must be bold and
brave – women with no filter.
Each year, a new cohort of the next
          generation of women leaders shines
          through. They embody grace, truth,
wisdom and excellence by being the
best they can be, while honouring
others in recognition that success is a
          team effort.
At Sasol, we believe creating and
delivering value beyond our business is
          key to sustainability.
The 2017 Businesswoman of the Year
Awards symbolises this through leaders HEADLINE SPONSOR
