Left front or right front speaker no Ignition switch is in the "ACC" gear. In normal use of the radio, the speaker on one side

sound is normal, and the one on the other side gives no sound.

Take the left speaker as an example, the right front speaker shall be checked with the same method.

Diagnosis procedure

1. Check the harness between the left front speaker and the radio

a. Ignition switch:LOCK. .

b. Disconnect the connector C003 of left front speaker

c. Disconnect the connector B044 of radio cassette player

d. Measure the resistances separately between No.1 and 2
terminals of left front speaker connector C003 and No.B5
ST
and B6 terminals of radio cassette player connector

B044 with a multimeter at its resistance position
BR
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value
BW
C003(1)-B044(B5) About 0Ω

C003(2)-B044(B6) About 0Ω EL

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 2.

NO>repair or replace the open harness

2. Check the left front speaker

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.

b. Disconnect the connector C003 of left front speaker

c. Take a multimeter to measure the resistance of the No. 1

and No. 2 terminals of the front left speaker connector

C003.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

C003(1)-C003(2) About 0Ω
