b. Hearing: hear the sound, muffler sputter, knocking or abnormal noise of engine at any speed.
c. Touching: touch any faulty position to check temperature, vibration, overheat of each fitting position, DI
bearing tightness, assembly looseness, pulsation of diesel engine high-pressure oil pipe.
d. Smelling: smell any special odor of vehicle during running, such as burning smell of clutch friction plate, EG
abnormal burning smell of lubricating oil, burning smell of line cord.

Fault prevention

1. Carefully record the running condition of vehicle, pay attention to any change of main technical
parameter of vehicle, collect and digitize the technical parameter, forecast the running condition and
possible fault of vehicle. AX
2. Compulsorily implement the scheduled maintenance and inspection system, establish the new idea to
use vehicle in a preventive manner. FR

3. Strengthen the routine maintenance of vehicle, carefully complete the cleaning, lubricating, fastening,
inspection, adjustment and corrosive prevention of vehicle before operation. ST
4. Driver shall strengthen his/her study on professional skill and actively participate in the professional
training to improve his/her specialized technical level and sense of responsibility and enterprise. Also, BR
he/she shall learn self-summary, accumulate his/her driving experience and improve his/her
comprehensive quality.

5. The vehicle fault shall be eliminated thoroughly and the effective measure shall be taken to avoid the
occurrence of similar fault. Never drive a defective vehicle.
