EG - 234 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

h. Remove the convex rubber block.

i. Remove the locking bolts and nuts of catalyst clamp.
j. Remove the catalyst clamp.

3. Clean and check the exhaust processing device

a. Check if there is too much ash or carbon inside the
exhaust processing device, and if there is, it is necessary to
clean it.
Caution

Take a high-pressure water gun to clean its interior, and
then dry it with compressed air.
Warning

Wear masks and goggles before cleaning to avoid
personal injury.

b. Check if the exhaust processing device is damaged, and
replace it if damaged.
