35-8 BRAKE - BRAKE PEDAL
(c). Tighten the locking nut of the brake push rod.
3. Check the free travel of the brake pedal
(a). Switch off the engine and press the pedal
several times until the vacuum booster is
no longer vacuum.
(b). Measure the distance L by pressing down
the brake pedal by hand until you feel
resistance.
(c). The value of the distance L is the free
travel of the brake pedal.
