62-80 DIAGNOSIS-POWER WINDOW

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check battery voltage

(a). Unplug battery positive and negative binding post.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the battery positive and negative
electrode.

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
Red probe-Battery
positive terminal
Approx 12V
Black probe-Battery
negative terminal

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the electrical appliances and connect the vehicle
diagnostic device to the diagnose interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic device again.

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of right rear door power window motor
connector is loosened and eroded.

3. Check harness and connector (Right rear door power window motor-BCM control unit)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Unplug the right rear door power window motor H04.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector C57.
