DIAGNOSIS-WIPER AND WASHING SYSTEM 62-173

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Check the fuse in the fuse box within the car:
F32(10A).
Disconnect Normal

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace the fuse.

2. Check the harness and the connector (fuse-combination switch(wiper)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Measure the voltage with the multimeter on
the voltage range.
Standard Voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C21(6)- Grounding Battery volt

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step3.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

3. Check the harness and the connector (front washer motor-combination switch (wiper))

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
