3. Check the harness and the connector ( body controller-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Measure the resistance between the
grounding and the No.24 pin of the
connector C58 on the body controller with
the multimeter.
Standard Voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
C58(24) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >To step 5.

4. Check the harness and the connector ( body controller-front wiper assembly)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C58 of BCM
control unit.
(c). Disconnect the connector A16 of the front
wiper and the IC03(30) connector.
(d). Measure the resistance between the No.2
pin of A16 and the No.24 pin of C58 with
the multimeter on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A16 (2)-C58(24) ＜ 2Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Repair or replace the harness relating to the connection.

5. Check the harness and the connector ( body controller-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".
