3. Check the harness and the connector (the front wiper low-speed relay-BCM control
unit)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the front wiper low-speed relay 62
R10 and IC16(13) connector.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector
C57.
(d). Measure the resistance between the No.1
pin of R10 and the No.23 pin of C57 with
the multimeter on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Specified value
multimeter

R10(1)-C57(23) ＜ 2Ω
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 4 .
No >Repair or replace the harness relating to the connection.

4. Check harness and connector (combination switch-BCM control unit)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector
C57.
(d). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Specified value
multimeter

C21(9)-C57(3) ＜ 2Ω
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>Replace the BCM control unit and carry out Step 5 if the fault remains after replacing.
No >Repair or replace the harness relating to the connection.
