(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector
C57.
(d). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range. 62
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by
multimeter Specified value
C21(9) - C57(3) ＜ 2Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 8.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

8. Check harness and connector (combination switch-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Specified value
multimeter
C21 (8) - grounding ＜ 2Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 9.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

9. Check the harness and the connector (front wiper high-speed relay - front wiper
motor)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
