Diagnosis Procedure

1. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the electrical appliances and connect the vehicle
diagnostic device to the diagnose interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step2.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the connector plugs of the central lock and the
body controller harness are loosen and eroded.

2. Check front wiper relay

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the front wiper relays R10 and
R11.
(c). Measure whether the performance of
the front wiper high-speed relay R10 and
R11 is in good condition with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance:

Connect by Standard
Conditions
multimeter value
normal 1–2 Exist

normal 3–4 ＜ 2Ω

Apply the power
supply voltage
between the 3–5 ＜ 2Ω
No.1 and No.2
pin
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Replace the front wiper relays R10 and R11.
