5. Check the combination switch (Wiper)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Fit a wiper switch cluster which functions normally, and connect the vehicle
diagnoser to the vehicle diagnosis interface.
(c). Ignition switch: “ON”, use the vehicle diagnoser to read DTC and observe the
vehicle symptoms.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 6 .
No >Replace the combination switch.

6. Check harness and connector (combination switch (wiper)-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by
multimeter Specified value
C21(8)-Grounding ＜ 2Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 7 .
No >Repair or replace the harness.

7. Check the harness and the connector (front wiper high-speed relay - front wiper motor)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
