(b). Measure the resistance between the No.4
pin of the connector C57 on the body
control and the grounding with the
multimeter.
Standard Voltage:
62
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C57 (4) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Replace the body controller.

6. Check the harness and the connector (body controller-combination switch(wiper))

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C57 of the body
controller.
(c). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(d). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin Standard value
by multimeter

C21 (1)-C57(4) ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the combination switch.
No >Repair or replace the harness.
