(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Disconnect the front washer motor
connector A32.
(d). Measure the resistance between the No.2
pin of A32 and the No.4 pin of C21 with the
multimeter on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
A32 (2)–C21(4) ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Repair or replace the harness relating to the connection.

4. Check the harness and the connector (front washer motor-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector A32 of the front
washer motor .
(c). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A32(1)-Grounding ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

5. Check the front washer motor

(a). Connect the battery positive terminal (+)
with the No.2 pin of the front washer motor
connector.
(b). Connect the battery negative terminal(-)
with the No.1 pin of the front washer motor
connector.
