62-210 DIAGNOSIS-HEATER & AIR CONDITIONING
4. Check the harness and the connector (air condition controller lighter-grounding)
(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(b). Disconnect air conditioning controller connector C42.
(c). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
C42(B1)—Grounding
C42(B19)—Grounding ＜ 2 Ω
C42(B20)—Grounding
Is the result normal?
Yes >change start to cut off the relay, to validate whether the fault exists or not.
No >Repair or replace the harness.
