DIAGNOSIS-AUDIO SYSTEM 62-257

(a). Use the multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 to No. 8 pin of sound
unit connector C67 and the grounding,
respectively.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit) 62
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C67(1)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ
C67(2)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ

C67(3)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ
C67(4)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ

C67(5)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ
C67(6)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ

C67(7)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ

C67(8)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Repair wiring harness of speaker signal line short circuit to the grounding.

5. Check the short circuit of loudspeaker signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Measure the voltage between the No.1 and
No.8 pin of connector C67 on the sound
unit and the grounding with the multimeter.
Standard Voltage：

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C67(1)-Grounding 0V
C67(2)-Grounding 0V

C67(3)-Grounding 0V
C67(4)-Grounding 0V

C67(5)-Grounding 0V
C67(6)-Grounding 0V
