3. Check the horn

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Check whether the appearance of the
compound horn is intact and whether the
horn harness connector is connected
tightly.
(c). Disconnect the connector of the compound
horn.

(d). While pressing down the horn switch,
check the voltage between the No.1
terminal of the horn connector A36 and A37
and the grounding.
voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
A36(1)- Grounding
Battery volt
A37(1)- Grounding

Is the result normal?
Yes >Replace the horn.
No >Check the circuit between the No.5 pin of the horn relay in the fuse box of engine
chamber and the horn connector, and if it is normal, go to Step 4.

4. Check the horn switch

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK"，disconnect the battery.
(b). Remove ABRS (Air Bag Restraint System).
(c). Check whether the horn switch contact is in good contact without distortion.
(d). Connect battery negative cable and check the voltage between the horn switch
connector on the steering wheel and the grounding with the multimeter. The voltage
is the one of battery.
