                 CD/DVD SOUND SKIP



                 Diagnosis Procedure
                     NOTICE:
                 It is normal for CD/DVD sound skip at times when the vehicle is running on the bumpy
                 road.                                                                                              62


                 1.     Check the CD/DVD


                 (a).   Make sure that the CD/DVD is out of distortion, stains and scratches.


                                                            (b).   If it is too dirty, clean the disc from the
                                                                   inside to the outside along the radial
                                                                   direction with soft cloth, as shown in the
                                                                   fig.
                                                                NOTICE:
                                                            Do not use the normal disc cleaner or the anti-
                                                            static preservative agent.
                                                             (c).   Insert the CD/DVD.














                 Check whether the sound unit can play normally?
                 Yes>Please use the clean disc without distortion, stains and scratches.
                 No >To Step 2.


                 2.     Check the source files of CD/DVD media


                 (a).   Replace it with a CD/DVD source file known as the legal copy and play the new one.


                 Check whether the sound unit can play normally?
                 Yes>Please use the legal copy of CD/DVD.
                 No >Back to Step 3.


                 3.     Check the sound unit


                 (a).   Check whether the sound unit is installed correctly.
                 (b).   Check whether the fixed bolts on the sound unit are screwed up.
                 (c).    Check whether the sound unit is in an environment away from dust.
