IT FAILS TO RECEIVE THE RADIO BROADCASTING OR THE

SOUND EFFECT IS POOR

Diagnosis Procedure
62
1. Check the sound unit settings

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".
(b). Press down the power switch "PWR" of sound unit.
(c). Tune the sound unit volume to over 10VOL.
(d). Press "BAND" repeatedly and choose the "FM1" frequency range.
(e). Make the sound unit search channels automatically.

Is the auto channels search function of sound unit normal?
Yes>Replace the sound unit.
No >Back to Step 2.

2. Check the sound unit antenna

(a). Check whether the antenna is curved or distorted, and whether the connecting wire
falls off.
(b). Whether there are foreign matters covering the antenna.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step3.
No >Replace the antenna.

3. Check the sound unit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Pull out the connector of the sound
antenna.
