(c). Ignition switch:"ON".
(d). Press down the power switch of sound unit.
(e). Tune the sound unit volume to over 10VOL.
(f). Press "BAND" repeatedly and choose the "FM1" frequency range.
(g). Put a screwdriver, a thin wire or other metal materials on the antenna socket of
sound unit to check and ensure that the radio broadcasting can be heard.

Check whether the sound unit can receive the radio broadcasting?
Yes>To step4.
No >Replace the sound unit.

4. Check the amplifier power supply

(a). Disconnect the antenna amplifier connector.
(b). Ignition switch:"ON".

(c). Measure the voltage between the No.5 pin
of connector C66 on the sound unit and the
grounding with the multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C66(5) - Grounding Battery volt

Check whether the antenna amplifier power circuit is in good condition?
Yes >Replace antenna amplifier.
No >Maintain the circuit between connector C66 of the antenna amplifier and the antenna
amplifier.

5. Check the connecting wire of antenna

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the antenna cable connector.

Check whether there is the continuity between both ends of the antenna cable?
Yes>Replace the antenna.
No >Clean and lock connectors between the antenna cable and the antenna as well as the
antenna cable and the sound unit. Replace the antenna cable if the problem persists.
