LIGHTING SYSTEM
PRECAUTIONS
1. Cut off power supply
(a). Before removing or installing any electric installation and when the tools or 62
equipments have easy access to the exposed electrical pins,the battery negative
cable must be firstly disconnected to prevent the injury of people or the damage of
vehicle.
(b). Unless otherwise indicated, the ignition switch must be off.
2. Other notices of using the battery while checking
(a). While using the battery in the process of checkup, do not keep the positive and
negative tester probes contact too closely to avoid the short circuit.
3. Disconnecting the battery negative cable will reset the daily milemeter and the clock
of the combination instrument

The total milemeter will not be cleared.
4. Disconnecting the battery cable will make the sound system lose the settings saved

After reconnecting battery negative cable, the sound system should be reset.
5. NOTICE for changing the bulb of the head lamp
(a). If there are oil stains on the surface of halogen bulb, the life span of the bulb will be
shortened and the bulb will burn out due to overheating.
(b). Be doubly careful on the operation of bulbs. Because of the high internal pressure
of the bulb, the bulb may explode or be broken if it is fallen, knocked or damaged.
(c). Prepare a new bulb for timely replacement. In the process of replacing the bulb, if
the bulb removed from the vehicle is laid aside for a long time, it may be attached
with dust and dampness.
(d). The bulb must be replaced by one of the same wattage with it.
(e). The lamp holder must be installed tightly after replacing the bulb. The gaps
surrounding the lamp holder may cause that the lampshade is blurry or the lamp
holder is dipped with water.
(f). Be sure to wear the protective glasses while replacing the bulb.
6. Ignition switch description

PARK, connecting the electric equipment when the vehicle stops, such as
ACC
radio and tape player and cigar lighter, etc..
DRIVE, connecting the electric equipment when the vehicle operates,
ON
such as meter and warm-up, etc..
HEAT Engine Heat, connects the preheating system of the engine.
START START, starting the engine and then being back to "ON" automatically.
