62-286 DIAGNOSIS-CIGARETTE LIGHTER

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the heating wire of the cigarette lighter

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Measure the heating wire resistance of the cigarette lighter with the multimeter on
the resistance to check whether it is blown.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step2.
No >Replace the heating wire of the cigarette lighter.

2. Check the fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Check the fuse in the fuse box of the
engine room:
Disconnect Normal

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >To step 5.

3. Check the harness and the connector (cigarette lighter-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
