DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM                               62-389

                 Symptom description:
                 Start the vehicle, neither the daytime running light at two sides turns on.


                 Diagnosis Procedure

                 1.     Check the fuse                                                                              62


                 (a).   Ignition switch:"LOCK".
                 (b).   Open interior fuse box cover.
                 (c).    Take out daytime running light fuse F6 (20A).
                     NOTICE:
                 A special fuse puller is required for removing the fuse. It shall not be directly pulled out by
                 hand, which will damage the fuse easily.


                                                            (d).   Check if the middle fuse wire of position
                                                                    lamp fuse F6 (20A) is fusing.
                     Disconnect            Normal

                 Check if the fuse is fusing.
                 Yes>Replace the fuse.
                     NOTICE:
                 While replacing the fuse, be sure to replace it with a fuse of the equal ampere rating value.
                 The backup lamp fuse value of this vehicle type is 20A.
                 No > To step 2.


                 2.     Check daytime running light bulb


                 (a).   Check if the left and right daytime running light connector is loose and falling off.
                 (b).   Remove left and right daytime running light bulb.


                                                            (c).   Connect the positive and negative
                                                                   electrode  of  bulb  into  the  positive
                                                                   and negative electrode of the battery,
                                                                   respectively to check if the bulb will light
                                                                   up.
