62-432 DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check vacuum degree alarm

(a). Idle run the engine, check whether the vacuum pump works well, check whether the
pipeline connected to vacuum pump is well connected, check whether the vacuum
tube of brake master cylinder exist air leakage phenomenon.
(b). Disconnect the vacuum alarm connector A17.
(c). Ignition switch:"ON"，check whether the vacuum warning indicator lamp turns off.

(d). Measure the continuity between No.1 and
No.2 pin of vacuum alarm by multimeter.

(e). Measure the continuity between the
grounding and No.2 pin of vacuum alarm
connector by multimeter.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step2.
No >Repair vacuum pump and its pipeline, or replace vacuum alarm, or check the
grounding line of vacuum alarm.

2. Check vacuum warning indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
