(b). Disconnect the vacuum alarm connector
A17.
(c). Ignition switch:"ON".
(d). Check the voltage between the grounding
and No.1 pin of vacuum degree alarm
connector A17. 62
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A17(1)-Grounding Battery volt
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step3.
No >Check the open circuit fault between vacuum degree alarm connector A17 and No.9
pin of combination meter connector C23.

3. Check vacuum warning indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the vacuum alarm connector
A17.
(c). Check the resistance between the
grounding and No.1 pin of vacuum degree
alarm connector A17.
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A17(1)-Grounding ＞ 1MΩ
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step4.
No >Check the short circuit to ground fault between vacuum degree alarm connector A17
and No.9 pin of combination meter connector C23 failure.

4. Replacement inspection

(a). Replace the same combination meter, start the engine, check whether the fault is
eliminated.

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the corresponding combination meter.
No >Remove fault from other symptoms.
