DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER 62-435

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Read fault code by diagnostic device

(a). Connect the diagnostic device, read the
fault code, check whether there is a fault 62
code output in combination meter system
and ABS/ESP system.

Is the system fault code detected?
Yes>Enter the ABS system and repair according to the fault code.
No >System fault code, go to Step 2.

2. Check CAN communication line

(a). Disconnect the engine ABS/ESP connector
A08, turn ignition switch "ON",check the
voltage between the grounding and No.14
& No.26 pin of A08.
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A08 (14 )- Grounding 0V~2.5V
A08 (26) - Grounding 2.5V~5V

(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable, check the resistance between No.14 and
No.26 pin of A08.
Standard resistance: 60Ω
(c). Disconnect combination meter connector, check the continuity between No.26 pin of
engine ABS/ESP connector A08 and No.16 pin of combination meter connector
C23, and the continuity between No.14 pin of A08 and No.15 pin of combination
meter connector C23.
