Diagnosis steps

• Ignition switch:"ON".
• Step on the brake pedal.
• Observe whether the brake lamp is lit.
• If the brake lamp is lit and P -gear fails to be extracted, examine as follows; if the brake
lamp is not lit, find out the reasons and proceed as the following examinations.

1. Check fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Check whether the fuses F19(5 A) in indoor
fuse box are blown.
Disconnect Normal

Check if the result is normal?
YES ＞ Replace the fuse.
Note :
The new fuse to replace must have and equivalent rated amperage. F19 fuse has an
amperage of 5A.
NO> Replace with a fuse of the same specification.

2. Examine power supply of gearshift lever

(a). Disconnect connector P02 with the gearshift
ON
T.S lever.
(b). Ignition switch:"ON".

(c). Examine voltage between Pin 6 of the
6 5 4 3 2 1 combination meter connector P02 and
12 11 10 9 8 7
v ground connection with a multimeter.
