(c). When the diagnostic tool controls the idling motor extending rotation, the motor
speed can have high or low changes simultaneously. (Feel the shake whentouching
the idling motor by hand.)
(d). Unplug the idling motor plug inspection, measuring connector terminal should be 12
v voltages.
(e). Check whether the idling motor extends or not when the ignition switch is turned on. 62
(f). When turn off the ignition switch, check the idling motor works or not.
Is the result normal?
Yes> To step 4.
No> Clean, fix or change the harness, connector or idling machine.
4. Check the position of the throttle
(a). Use a diagnostic tool to check whether the throttle is normal or not.
(b). Check whether the throttle opening changes normally or not when steps the
accelerator pedal.
Is the result normal?
Yes> To step 5.
No> Modify the position of the throttle.
5. Check the secondary ignition system
(a). Unplug the fuel injector fuse.
(b). Remove the high voltage wire and the spark plug.
(c). Connect the spark plug with the high voltage wire and connect the spark plug
negative to the cylinder block.
(d). Start the motor to test the secondary ignition system.
Is the result normal?
Yes> To step 7.
No> To step 6.
6. Check the spark plug
(a). Check the high-voltage coil resistance and clean the connector terminals.
(b). Check whether the spark plug has carbon deposition and carbon marks or not, the
ceramic insulation part is cracked and leaked or not, and positive and negativepoles
are ablated or not and clean the spark plug.
Is the result normal?
Yes> To step 7.
No> Clean and change the default parts.
