41-36 TRANSMISSION（6HP21） - OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

1 . Park the vehicle, shut down the engine, and apply the parking brake.
2 . Remove the front bumper (refer to “Chapter 88 Interior/exterior- Replacement,
front bumper assembly”).

3 . Screw out the transmission bottom drain
plug and discharge the transmission
lubricating oil.

NOTICE

• Before discharge, make sure that the vent
plug is unobstructed.
• When discharging the transmission
lubricating oil, use a dedicated vessel to
receive the transmission lubricating oil,

and dispose it as required.
• After the transmission lubricating oil is
discharged, refit the drain plug, and avoid
forgetting this.

Torque: 12 N•m

4 . Remove the oil cooler
(a) Disconnect the horn connector.
(b) Screw out horn fixing bolts, and take down
the horn.

(c) Loosen the oil cooler inlet hose and return
hose hoops, and pull out the inlet hose and
return hose.
